Apeiron
go for it :D if the mapper does not find a map going well and makes a better made one then said mapper should do the one she/he is best with.

Blood Willow
OK then. I'll put the Forest on hold. I won't delete it though. I'll go back to it after I find some better water tiles :D

Blood Willow
OK, here ya go :D Please ignore all the half-rocks and tree-roots without a trunk or branches. I'm figuring out the depth thing. Does the depth need to be higher or lower to have the avi go under it? Like with tree-tops and such.
Apeiron
the higher the depth, the higher the object
blootooby
the higher the depth, the higher the object Isn't it the lower the depth, the higher the tile?
Guest BobRaygen
to confusing i will just make my maps less confusing. higher lower. mabey that is why my maps aren't as good i need to try those confusuing statments out.
Blood Willow
Don't feel bad Bob. I'm still working on figuring out the depth thing too :D So, with 2 contradicting answers, I am still confused? Does the depth need to be higher or lower in order to walk under the tree-top, instead of on it?
blootooby
It needs to be lower.
Blood Willow
OK, I'll go give that a shot, thanks.

Blood Willow
Yeah, now that I look at them lol. I never dropped that menu before cuz I was afraid I would mess things up :D Since I didn't know what I was doing. OK, the depth thing works! Yay! ;D So all my rocks and trees are whole now :P I would post a couple screenies, but Photo-Bucket is giving me crap and won't load the pictures. So, I'll have to post them later. Blood Willow
Photo-Bucket was giving me probs. Sorry.
hawthorneluke
Nothing beats trying out things and seeing the result >_< lol The further the number from 0 in the positive direction, the lower the depth is. The further the number from 0 in the negative direction, the higher the depth is. Positive depths will all go under the player. Negative depths will all go above the player. Blood Willow
Thanks Luke. OK, I can show a couple screenies now. If you think something should be fixed, lemme know. Otherwise, it's up to Luke if it can be used in-game or not.
hawthorneluke
I think it looks pretty good :D Would be a good map in game imo :P

Blood Willow
Nah, I'm gonna make a second map that will connect the 2 parts of land :D You'll go over the bridge, and then there with a thing like SOL has, to take you to the other map. Then you go back to the upper land. See?
