varinyc
BleakBlade and I have accumulated enough evidence to think there might be a dragon in The World. I recommend everyone being Careful from now on. It's popular belief that Dragons were common pets to Sun Gods and that they lurched in Temples, Castles, Caves, and other monuments of glory. What's more is the fact that I don't know of any other source of fire in The World, Other than the possibility of a dragon. Sure, there's items, but where did THEY come from? o.0 Not to mention the fact that I don't think anyone can produce Fire in The World by normal Earthly means.... We've also seemed to find Odd writings on the walls of a place we're suspicious of holding a dragon. but we cannot seem to read them, for they're in a very bizarre and complex language. The architecture seems COMPLETELY unstable and not very practical, unless another force must help to keep it up. I believe it to be common knowledge that dragons are highly intellectual creatures, that may even surpass our own, and are highly capable of natively using magic that lasts centuries. There's Large amounts of Rubble that seem too out of place to have JUST caved in there, and there alone. especially in places that seem much stabler than the rest of the building itself. Lastly, There's what seems to be brightly purple objects within this rubble, that is (very much so) visible to anyone. Which we suspect of being possibly dragon scales. I shall stay hushed on any more of the matter, because frankly, I do not underestimate the mystical powers of a dragon, and do not want to end up on the bad side of ANY of them that may be lurking out there. You have been warned, and all evidence is there for anyone to look at for themselves.
Apeiron
why would we have dragons? we don't even have a battle system :D if you read the sign outside the place you speak of, it clearly stats that archaeologists have been excavating the site, it used to be completely filled :P oh, and the signs were a part of the old aura event

And have you ever seen the Archaologists actually working, o.0 ho much do they get paid? do they wear awesome suits...... and can i have one? what makes you so certain that the archeologists were human, and not in fact dragons? assuming you haven't seen them.. you have as much reason to believe they are humans as i do dragons o.o so there. Meritorious
Everything all of you speak of are nothing more then metaphors. The archaeologists is a metaphor, for the creation, or add on of the map. Just like your so called Dragons. For in a world where nothing is real, anything can be whatever anyone wants it to be. For if I wanted to, they could not be Dragons at all, they could little chipper gnomes that eat the souls of people, and leave those clues behind to lure us into their mystery to eat our soul. You haven't seen them either, my good sir. For the record, archaeologists wear mining hats with lights, and light clothing for it can get hot in these caves. Imagination is over-rated. Anything that doesn't evolve sitting in a single spot and talking for 10mins about nothing just to find out, you've JUST met that person half-way through the conversation cause they walked up as you were talking to yourself.. SeraphSoul
I can't seem to find the thread that speaks about all of this. I heard character creation for July and it is August? That's all I can really find besides new areas and general speculation. Is there a section or general thread explaining this chat?
varinyc
don't get me wrong, dragons are awesome, but i just can't see them in this game, as compared to other games Oh, I'm not trying to go against the grain of the game. I was just under the impression that there were dragons or dragon-like monsters in .hack, or at least I thought I saw them in one of the animes... but I could be wrong. Either way, Not everyone can be right, and it's always fun to have weird conspiracy theorists around XD *points at self*
Crim
ah i think i know what your talking about, i thought you meant like actual dragons but those creatures that look/resemble are pretty cool, and would be much different than an actual dragon :D

Princess Rei
Um... To be an archaeologist you have get a bunch of random people together and tell them to spam "Dig." That's what I think though.

That's what I think though. @___@ The dragons secretly summoned a massive amount of Diglets from the pokemon world into this one to dig out the ruins o....o; The incompatible data thus shut off the server. >o<
Guest BobRaygen
umm about the direction this game is going in. if you ever have seen the .hack//series or at lest seen one of the shows basiclly i think this game will be like that minus the hacking problem.-.-
varinyc
umm about the direction this game is going in. if you ever have seen the .hack//series or at lest seen one of the shows basiclly i think this game will be like that minus the hacking problem.-.- Uhm if you ever see the game, you 'll know that there is little, to nothing, to do. (not complaining) So I'm having fun entertaining myself. o.o Unlike a lot of people who role themselves around the people who are right, or just , or evil.... or WHATEVER kind of character you want to be. My favorite would be mysterious.. but i fail at that... so my second choice is the raving lunatic with lots of VERY incorrect conspiracy theories. I'm not dumb, I just choose to pose as someone who's not quite sane, and normal to others' expectations. What I play as, and who i literally am... are two completely different people.... and yes, I've seen .hack... and i think that IF The World were TRULY real you could find at least ONE person on there that believed that there was something on the game, that really probably wasn't. :/
Meritorious
If you watched the anime or played the games, they were based around the hacking, which is why little to nothing ever happened. The game was based to be a social game where you could go to dungeons, hunt, pk against others, or just mingle in town. The hacking and data infecting was just a plus to make the anime/games more interesting.
